NEW ADULT BIBLE SCHOOL CLASS
New Adult Bible Class on the End Times Begins this Sunday, May 17
Pastor Hannemann will be leading a new summer adult Bible class in the Parish Hall beginning this Sunday, May 17 at 9:00 AM. Sunday School and the Young Adult Study concluded their classes last Sunday, May 10. Our first study for the summer is entitled, “Are We in the End Times?” What does the Bible teach about the Millennium, the Rapture, and the place of Israel in End Times prophecy? Is the U.S., or are Christians obligated to support Israel or face being cursed by God? Who or what is the Antichrist? What happens when a person dies? What about Judgment Day? These and many other questions will be addressed. Join us! There will be coffee.
SENIOR RECOGNITION
Congratulations to Zion's seven seniors who will be graduation during the month of May. They are Porter Dose, Wyatt Dose, Tyler Mollevik, Kaleb Ostrander, Weston Panko, Will Regier, and Sophia Schulze. We thank God for our Senior High students and the many ways He has guided them to this milestone. We pray that the Lord will continue to lead them with wisdom, courage, and faith as they step into new opportunities. May they remain rooted in Christ, confident in His promises and eager to serve others wherever they go. Congratulations, graduates-you are a blessing to our church family!

We are encouraged to open our hearts to mothers, fathers, and babies as we use the bottles for donations to the Center. The YPFRC is the sole recognized provider for Christ-centered, life-affirming services to those with pregnancy-related concerns for York and surrounding areas. Every family will be given a bottle…and they make take more than one. Please choose to make a difference in a baby’s life…in a family’s life. The Goal is $1,000 for the Center. A $250 Thrivent Action Team grant will also be used to buy needed items for the Center.

LUTHERANS FOR LIFE
Alleluia, Christ has risen! This is the pro-life proclamation! Our Lord has defeated death to give life to the world. There is no person whom Jesus does not wish to rescue from the curse of death, as “God shows no partiality” (Acts 10:34). And we, who have already “been raised with Christ” through faith and Holy Baptism, “seek the things that are above” (Colossians 3:1), desiring that all would have life, now and when He appears in glory (Colossians 3:4).
LCMS FOUNDATION
We live in an “I can do it myself” culture. The truth is that with creating a Christian estate plan, we need an entire team, to assist us to make sure that our plan is well grounded. Having a good attorney is essential to this process, as they bring expertise to know how to document your plans legally and clearly in your will or trust, especially accounting for unique challenges. Your LCMS Gift Planning Counselor can help you organize your information and goals so you are ready to work with your attorney. Contact Craig Stirtz at 402-616-0312 or craig.stirtz@lfnd.org.
