MIDWEEK (6:30-8:00pm) - Grades 4th thru 8th
February 5, 12, 19, 26 – Regular Midweek Classes
March 5 - Ash Wednesday Service @ 7:00 pm (NO Midweek classes during Lent)
March 5, 12, 19, 26 – (NO Midweek Classes) - Lenten Meal (5:30-6:30pm) & Lenten Service (7pm)
** In the event of inclement weather and school gets cancelled or dismissed early… Midweek will also be cancelled that evening.
SUNDAY SCHOOL (8:50-9:50am) - Grades PreK thru 12th
February 2, 9, 16, 23 – Regular Sunday Classes
March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 – Regular Sunday Classes
** Parents: Reminder that if children are sick or have fevers, please keep them out of children activities on those days. We are trying to minimize the spread of germs to other families and volunteers.
FEBRUARY YOUTH STUFF…
** THANKS to everyone who helped/donated to the Spaghetti Feed on January 26th. We raised $673, which will help us travel to the National Youth Gathering in July and a Kansas City trip in May for a service project and some fun!!

YOUTH PARENT MEETING
Thanks to those who attended our postponed January meeting. If you missed the meeting, please check your email for the updated Youth Event Calendars. If you have NOT already grabbed your packet from the meeting, please let DCE Ben know! I can drop off if needed.
Middle School Stuff... (6-8th graders)
ROLLER SKATING IN YORK – Saturday, February 15
Middle School youth head to the York Skating Rink (552 West 8th Street, York) from 2 to 4pm. Please bring $7 for skating and friends are welcome. We will meet at the skating rink. We will need a few adult chaperones to help watch kids.
CONFIRMATION RETREAT – Friday/Saturday, March 7-8
The Middle School Youth (6-8th graders) will be traveling to Camp Luther (Schuyler, NE) on Friday, March 7th and return on Saturday, March 8th. We will meet at church at 5pm and pick up supper on the way. (Bring a sack lunch or a few dollars for fast food. The cost for the retreat is $40, please make checks out to “Zion Lutheran”. Please turn in payment with your registration forms by Wed. February 12th. The total cost is $65 but the youth budget is covering the other $25 per participant. We also need a few adult chaperones to stay overnight & transport kids. (Camp is 1 ½ hrs. away) The packing list and more info to come via email.
High School Stuff... (9-12th graders)
HIGH SCHOOL AXE THROWING PARTY- Sunday, February 16
High school youth mark your calendars, as you are invited to a youth trip to Grand Island to do some Axe Throwing. Meet at Zion and carpool to Axe Holes on Sunday, February 16th. Gather at 2pm and return around 5pm. Bring $10 and a friend… MUST RSVP, so we can make a reservation and complete waivers. Look for more details to come via email.
HS MARIO KART PARTY EVENT (Sunday, March 9)
High School youth will be having an activity night at Zion on Sunday, March 9th. Meet at church at 4pm. We will eat pizza and challenging each other in a crazy game of Mario cart and board games! Bring your favorite snack to share and a board game. Friends are welcome!!
