** Parents: Reminder that if children are sick or have fevers, please keep them out of children activities on those days. We are trying to minimize the spread of germs to other families and volunteers.
CHILDREN SING- PALM SUNDAY (April 13): Parents, please make sure kids are on time to practice our song on Sundays, April 6 & 13 from 8:50-9:00am. Children will process in with palm branches and sing at the beginning of the Palm Sunday service.
ZION EASTER EGG HUNT
Are you ready for some Easter fun? We are hosting our Second annual Easter Egg hunt on Easter Sunday morning immediately following the 8:00am service. We will meet in the driveway between buildings for directions before going on the hunt. We ask that at least one adult be present with your kids during the hunt. Kids can bring their own Easter baskets or we will have some bags available to use to collect eggs in. Kids will meet in the fellowship hall following the hunt to turn in eggs and collect their goodie bags and enjoy the Youth Easter Breakfast! We will need a few Middle school youth to help “hide” eggs.

We are celebrating 4 confirmands this year! We are so proud of each of you and the work you put into your confirmation experience. We are excited to celebrate with you at the 10:00am service. The 2025 Confirmands are: Cason Bamesberger, Bentley Hagan, Paisley Joseph, & Willabelle Panko.
SUMMER CAMP 2025
Have your kids ever been to a summer Christian camp? Have you been to CAMP LUTHER?
DCE Ben is hoping to take a group of kids to camp and we would love to have you tag along. His family will be at camp from Sunday, June 22 to Friday, June 27. He will also be at camp for a short camp (Sun-Tues, June 15-17). Camps available for kids entering 1st thru 9th grades (Grade as of Fall 2025). Sign up NOW to get early bird discounts by March 15th. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Vacation Bible School is set for June 9-13th (8:30-11:30am). Our theme this year is “Wonder Junction” and we will explore the life of Jesus and the promises of eternal life. *** “VBS Kickoff Wonder Junction Jamboree” will be on Sunday, May 25th after church… we will have a meal provided, games, and fun to prepare us for the week of VBS. The whole congregation is invited!!

** We are looking for parents/adult volunteers to help with VBS, please register yourself if you can help. Even if it is only a day or two, any help is appreciated.

Middle School Stuff... (6-8th graders)
MIDNIGHT MADNESS LOCK-IN – Friday, April 11
Middle school youth (6-8th graders) are invited to Zion for an evening of fun and fellowship on Friday, April 11. We will meet at 7:00pm and dismiss at Midnight. Kids are encouraged to bring a friend and a snack to share. Still looking for an adult male & female chaperone to help with the event. Please eat supper prior to arrival. Check email for details.
CONFIRMATION RETREAT – Friday/Saturday, March 7-8
Youth got to learn about Creation and what it means to be “RENEWED”. Kids made clay pots and planted flowers as great reminders of how God works in our life to form us and give us life. We played 9 Square in the Air… Atleigh is tough one armed warrior! We met some other area youth and explored the great outdoors. Thanks Kurtis Winters for helping chaperone!
High School Stuff... (9-12th graders)
HS LENT MEALS – Wed. April 2
Our last Lenten meal will be April 2 … Hot dogs, Mac & Cheese, Veggies, Milk & Cookies. Thanks to everyone who came and supported our youth during lent. Thanks to Youth families for all their hard work and baking skills! These fundraisers help us prepare for our summer High School youth trips to New Orleans (July) and Kansas City (May), but also are a fun way to serve our congregation.
HS BOWLING EXTRAVAGANZA IN YORK - Sunday, April 13
High School Youth will have an opportunity to perfect their Bowling skills on Sunday, April 13 from 3pm to 5pm. Look to meet at Sunset Bowl (1923 N. Lincoln Ave) in York, bring $10.00 to offset costs. This will be for youth 9th-12th grade and friends are welcome. Snacks will be covered.
HS EASTER BREAKFAST (Sunday, April 20)
Zion Youth will be serving up another Easter Breakfast after the 8:00 AM Easter worship service. Youth/Parents look for meal planning in your email. Thanks to the congregation for all the donations and support!
HS MARIO KART PARTY EVENT - Sunday, March 9
High School youth had a blast in our second annual Mario Kart tournament. Rigs Newton pulled off the win despite some tough competition from DCE Ben!!
